The Great Smoky Mountains National Park boast over 700 miles of fishable streams; more water than an angler could fish in a lifetime. Add to that daunting figure the fact that the GSMNP hosts only wild fish in highly technical water and it’s easy to become overwhelmed quickly. Let our guides show you the way. They’ll take you into the park to fly fish for trout among some of the most scenic natural streams anywhere in the world. All trips are taken through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in East Tennessee are provided under the terms of the National Park Service through a Commercial Use Authorization.

Most wade trips we take are relatively easy wading, however, some are not. Please let us know of any physical limitations you or your group may have so that we can cater the trip for the best outcome. During the spring, winter, and fall we usually access streams lower in elevation in order to find the best flows and water temperatures. During the summer, however, when temperatures climb we typically find ourselves at higher elevations, 2,000 feet and above, chasing native brook trout.

Full Day Guided Fly Fishing Wade Trips are a great day away from the office and cell phones. Guests interested in learning more about the sport or spending a full day catching fish usually prefer full day guided fly fishing wade trips.
