Fly Fishing 201 – On The Water Fly Fishing LessonsCharlie Morgan2020-01-13T15:29:52-05:00
Fly Fishing 201 is an opportunity for our guides to craft a half-day fishing experience that leaves an angler confident to go back out and start catching fish on their own.
A trip costs the same as a half-day wade trip ($250 for a half-day, $300 for a full day for a longer excursion), and the guide provides flies and all necessary tackle. Waders, boots, and rods are available if needed, though we prefer the angler to use their own equipment to set them up for success on their own.
We will help determine a good location, but we’ll generally go where the angler is most interested in going, such as the larger tailwaters close to town or the mountain streams of the GSMNP. All our guides are licensed by the state, insured, and First Aid/CPR Certified to ensure an enjoyable and safe trip.
Who is this class for? Anyone who is familiar with a basic fly cast or has taken our free Fly Fishing 101 class.
